Two Track Malting Commercial Sprouting Capabilities
Two Track Malting offers commercial-scale grain sprouting capabilities for food manufacturers, ingredient companies, pet food industry, and brands looking to develop innovative sprouted grain products.
Our state-of-the-art facility is designed to support food-grade production requirements, combining modern processing infrastructure with the specialized knowledge required to control grain hydration, germination, temperature, airflow, and other critical process variables.
Our goal is to provide customers with more than processing capacity. Two Track Malting can serve as an outsourced sprouting platform capable of supporting a product from initial development and commercialization through large-scale production.
Broad Capabilities & Ingredient Applications
Two Track Malting offers controlled sprouting and germination capabilities for cereal grains and select pulses, including barley, wheat, oats, rye and other appropriately sized specialty crops. Our limiting factor is our grain handling equipment and GKV floor slots for airflow, however we are always open to discuss how we can best serve you.

Steeping
Steeping is the first stage of the sprouting process. We soak the grain to increase moisture and start the sprouting process. Depending on the grain variety and desired specifications, this determines the time spent steeping. Once desired moisture is achieved we transfer this to our Germination Kiln Vessel or GKV.
Sprouting
Sprouting is essentially germination and we are able to control this process by monitoring moisture, humidity, airflow, and temperature to ensure the sprouted product meets your demand. During sprouting and kilning we turn the grain to ensure consistency throughout the sprouted grain bed.
Kilning
Kilning is the final step in the sprouting process. Time and temperature dry out the product and is continually monitored to ensure the desired final moisture is achieved. Depending on your needs we can control the final moisture content depending on if you are wanting the product flaked, milled, or just cleaned and packaged.
Develop Here. Launch Here. Scale Here.
One of Two Track Malting’s greatest advantages is our ability to expand production capacity as customer demand grows. Our modular GKV system can expand up to 40 million lbs of annual capacity without requiring the development of an entirely new production facility.
This scalability allows customers to establish a sprouted grain program without having to make the significant capital investment required to develop dedicated sprouting infrastructure internally.
Packaging your Way
Our automated packaging and cleaning line ensures consitency, security, and quality for every lb of product that we produce. We currently have the ability to package in 50lb bags, 2,000lb Totes, or load bulk containers.
Traceability is our DNA
Our mission is to provide full transparency for all of the products we produce. Farm to Table traceability is core to our operation. We know where the raw ingredients come from and can trace that back to the farmer and field where it was grown. Our small batch size ensures this is a priority and can add value to your mission and marketing message.
